BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — You can now support local war veterans by purchasing a new beer crafted in Western New York.
Ellicottville Brewing Company teamed up with WNY Heroes to create Echo Victor Lima, a helles lager.
The name is inspired by the veterans who impacted the life of Dan Minner, the beer's head brewer.
The beer can be found at local retailers like Wegmans, Wamart, Tops and Consumer. A launch party will take place Thursday at the Santora's Pizza Bar & Grill on Transit Road in Williamsville. It begins at 6 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds from this beer will benefit the serives of WNY Heroes, providing to veterans and their families.
