EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Vidler's 5 & 10, the iconic East Aurora store, has earned some new bragging rights.
The store, which has been around since 1930, has received Trip Advisor’s 2020 Travelers Choice Award.
Vidler's says the award means it is in the top 10 percent of everything listed on Trip Advisor, which it says is over 8.7 million businesses/attractions.
"This is based on our consistently high reviews and ratings and is a testament to our customer service, unique merchandise and well, just plain fun experience of shopping at Vidler’s," the store said.
The store planned on having celebrations throughout the year to mark its 90th anniversary, but that has been put on hold due to COVID-19.
In March Vidler's was named Family Owned Business of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. It will receive the award from the SBA on September 23 and says it will also be touting the Trip Advisor award at that time.
