CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A group up ducklings were rescued from a sewer at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport Saturday, the SPCA serving Erie County announced.

The SPCA says airport officials reported the ducklings fell through a sewer grate and Officer Ivory sprung into action immediately to rescue them.

Officer Ivory was able to reunite all the ducklings with the mother except for one that was unable to keep up with the rest.

The one duckling that was unable to be reunited with the mother was brought to the SPCA's Wildlife Department and will spend time there until it is old enough to be released.
