ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Orchard Park Police have charged an individual with two counts of driving while intoxicated along with reckless driving among other charges after attending the Taste of Orchard Park Festival.
Police say Michael W. Sanok of Orchard Park drove a black BMW at a high rate of speed southbound on North Buffalo Road after police shut down vehicular traffic on North Buffalo Road at New Taylor Road disregarding officer commands to stop at a road closure sign, Wednesday evening.
Sanok then hit a barricade after nearly hitting an officer.
He was since released without bail and is expected to appear in village court some time in the future.
