Drugs, gun, cash recovered after search warrant executed in Orleans County

MEDINA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Drugs, gun, and cash were recovered following the execution of a search warrant in Orleans County Tuesday.

Police say two individuals, 40-year-old Brandon Askew and 48-year-old Lisa Mailman, were taken into custody at a residence on South Avenue.

30-year-old Matthew Parker was taken into custody at a different location.

Seized following the execution of the search warrant were:

  • Over an ounce of crack cocaine packaged for sale
  • Over $800 in cash
  • A loaded 380 semi-automatic handgun with defaced serial numbers
  • A stun gun
  • Multiple packages of synthetic marijuana
  • Scales, packaging and other drug paraphernalia

Askew faces the following charges: two counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, four counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, one count of third degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Mailman faces the following charges: two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Parker faces the following charges: two counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of third degree possession of a controlled substance.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.
