DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a vehicle and a train in Dunkirk on Tuesday.
Dunkirk police said emergency crews responded to the report of a vehicle that was struck by a train at Middle Road and the CSX railroad crossing at 1:30 p.m. The driver was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital, where they died from their injuries. The driver's identity was not released.
Police said they are investigating in coordination with CSX Railroad officials.
