BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Just ahead of Valentine's Day, a new report shows "financial infidelity" is on the rise in relationships across the country.

According to CreditCards.com, nearly 30 million people in "live-in" relationships are lying about their spending, debt, and bank accounts. The report found 20% of people surveyed said having a secret account is worse than having an affair! Still, only 2% of people said they would break up with their lover if they discovered they had more than $5,000 in secret credit card debt.

Experts say withholding financial information could signal a lack of trust, and that a partner may be hiding other things as well. You can read the entire report here.
