NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Board of Directors for the Niagara County SPCA has removed the Director of Shelter Operations of his duties.
The board held a special meeting Thursday night, and voted to relieve Timothy Brennan of his duties and responsibilities effective immediately.
The board went on to announce that Amy Lewis, the shelter's former Executive Director will return in the role of Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer.
The statement from the SPCA said that the organization cannot comment any further on the decision because it is a personnel matter. The board assured the public that the animals have been and remain properly cared for, and that the mission to provide that service to the county is its top priority.
