NAPOLI, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's hot.

It's been hot.

It's going to be hot.

"Over 100 degrees on the pavement," said Bradley Poole.

Poole knew that it could be this hot, but he didn't think it would be like this all week. The week he dedicated to running 266 miles throughout every town in Cattaraugus County.

To stay healthy, he's doing the basics.

"Lots of waters, Gatorades, make sure I'm getting food in me," said Poole, running somewhere north of Napoli.

Instead of 42 miles a day in one shot, he stops in the afternoon. His breaks are filled with treatments. Bradley is doing this all with Cystic Fibrosis

He's doing this grueling run to raise money and awareness for the disease that can wreak havoc on your lungs and digestive system.

"Donations that we get, go towards developing better medications. That will allow us to live longer more fulfilling lives," said Poole.

The life expectancy of someone with CF is just under 40.

It's hot. He has CF. And the rolling hills keep rolling. But, you can bet that Bradley Poole will finish what he set out to do come Saturday.

"I have a mission to accomplish. I'm not going to stop until I get it done," said Poole.
