BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — More than 400 Erie County Sheriff's Deputies and Corrections Officers received a clean shave Friday to support cancer research.
The deputies have been growing beards since November for their no-shave November fundraiser that benefits Roswell Park in Buffalo.
A check was presented to the Comprehensive Cancer Center for $23,000. Since the campaign began three years ago, more than $60,000 have been raised.
