BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 25-year-old woman was found dead in an apartment in the 3200 block of Main Street July 18th, Buffalo police say her death has been ruled a homicide.
According to police the body was found in an upper apartment in the 3200 block of Main Street just after 6:30 p.m. July 18th.
The autopsy was conducted by the Erie County medical examiner and her death was ruled a homicide. Police say the incident remains under investigation.
Police have not released the 25-year-old woman's name at this time, but 7 Eyewitness News has learned she was an employee of KeyBank.
KeyBank released this statement Wednesday:
"We are saddened to learn of the death of a KeyBank employee. Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and KeyBank colleagues who are hurting today from this tragic news. We cannot comment any further at this time as this is under investigation."
