BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — What is going to happen to students this fall? It's a big question. One, school districts are working to answer.

The deadline for schools to submit a plan to the state is Friday.

Some districts in Western New York have already released their plans.

Take Lakeshore Central School District. They'll be doing a hybrid model. Students will go to school two days a week and learn remotely the other three.

A lot of schools will have a similar set up.

Some districts are still trying to gauge what will work the safety of their students and what is viable for parents.

The Cheektowaga Central School District is having parents fill out surveys. It includes questions of how well remote learning went in the spring.

School districts will post their plans on their websites.
