AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Daemen College will delay the start of its spring semester in hopes of reducing the spread of COVID-19.

February 15 will mark the beginning of spring classes on campus, three weeks past the original start date of January 27.

In addition, the college is canceling all breaks, and will hold classes continuously through May 14. Finals will end on May 21.

All students, faculty and staff must be tested for COVID-19 before they are allowed to return to the Amherst campus. That protocol is already in place for the fall semester, which began on September 8.
