BUFFALO N.Y. (WKBW) — For the second consecutive summer, Daemen college has offered half day technology camps to children ages nine through 14. The programs goal is to introduce coding to kids at a young age in hopes of them one day turning it to a career.

"They seem to know what other professions are. They can see what they are concretely," Vice President of Information Technology at Daemen College said. "They know what a fireman is and they know what a teacher is, but a lot of them don't understand the opportunities out there that are in the area of technology."

From early July to Mid August Daemen College will be offering seven different technology classes. Some include, Web design, Intro to Python and Beginners Roblox.
