BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A cyclist is dead after a hit-and-run on Ontario Street Thursday night in Buffalo.
According to the mayor's office, around 10:30 p.m., Buffalo police responded to a report of a cyclist who was struck by a vehicle near 51 Ontario Street.
The vehicle then fled the scene traveling eastbound on Ontario Street.
The cyclist was taken to ECMC with critical injuries and later died the next day.
The Buffalo Police Department Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
