Crime Stoppers offering $5,000 reward in Tonawanda homicide investigation

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Crime Stoppers WNY is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects in the homicide of a 71-year-old Town of Tonawanda woman.

Diane Wolfe was found dead in a home at 265 Yorkshire Road in the Town of Tonawanda on Wednesday morning. Town of Tonawanda police say they were called to the home around 9:45 a.m.

Officials announced Thursday the investigation into the woman's death is now being treated as a homicide.

Crime Stoppers says Wolfe's car was taken during the incident. It is a grey/silver 2019 Honda CRV with a New York license plate reading "EEV954."
