BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The southbound lanes of Route 400 had to be closed Wednesday due to a truck crashing into a ditch.
The accident happened a little before 8:00 a.m. near the Maple exit. The lanes had to be closed as crews worked to remove the truck from the ditch.
Authorities did not provide an update on the condition of the truck driver.
The New York Department of Environmental Conservation is supervising the clean up of the site.
As of 1:30 p.m., the southbound lanes remain closed.
