NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — It was a chaotic scene in the Cataract City Tuesday morning.
An industrial crane tipped over during a construction project. These pictures were taken by ROBSHOTS at the water intakes in Niagara Falls.
According to the New York Power Authority (NYPA), the 300-ton crane was being set up as part of a conduit project. The crane belongs to the sub-contractor, Clark Rigging. While they were staging the crane, NYPA authorities say it tipped over, crashing to the ground. No one was hurt, we're told the incident will not impact the work moving forward.
