BUSTI, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lakewood Busti Police are asking for help investigating a cow that was shot and killed earlier this month.
The owner of a Black Angus cow called Lakewood Busti Police after hearing a gunshot coming from near where their pasture is located. Police arrived on Wednesday, May 8th to find a cow and its newborn calf, both deceased. It is believed that the cow was shot the weekend prior.
Lakewood Busti Police have spoken with multiple people in the area, but still have not found any information. Anyone with information that can help the investigation are asked to notify police at 20 West Summit Ave in the Village of Lakewood, or call 716-763-9563.
