ALBION, N.Y. (WKBW) — An Amherst man working as corrections officer at the Albion Correctional Facility has been arrested for criminal sex act and faces multiple charges.
New York State police say 29-year-old James W. Castonguay, a corrections officer, allegedly had unlawful sexual relations with two female inmates at the Albion facility.
Castonguay faces the following charges:
- Two counts of rape in the third degree
- Four counts of criminal sex act in the third degree
- Four counts of official misconduct
Castonguay was arrested, processed and released with an appearance in Albion Town Court later this month.
