BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The spotlight on Buffalo food has been gaining traction across the nation all year, but it's Ru's Pierogi leading the way into 2019.
Ru's will be featured on Cooking Channel's "Burgers, Brew and Que" New Years Day at 9 p.m.
The owner says they're falling into the "Brews" category by partnering with Community Beer Works and pairing their "Brown Whale" beer with their chicken wing pierogi.
The filming took place over the summer, Ru's says it is their first time in the national spotlight.
