Community Baby Shower kicks off in WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — It's a drive to support soon-to-be mothers. The tenth annual Community Baby Shower kicked off Wednesday.

The annual drive is a community-wide effort to collect baby supplies for new moms. 8,000 baby bundles have been packed and donated since the event began ten years ago.

Donations can be dropped of at United Way headquarters on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo, or at Oishei Children's Hospital on Ellicott Street on the medical campus.

The drive runs through May 9.
