BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A late morning collision sent an SUV skidding out of control onto a Buffalo splash pad.
According to investigators, the accident happened around 10:45 Monday morning at Route 33 and Grider. Police say a tractor trailer and SUV collided, sending the SUV off the road and through a protective fence before stopping on a city splash pad on Kensington Avenue. At the time of the crash, neither the splash pad or neighboring pool had opened for the day.
The driver of the SUV was taken to ECMC, there's no word on her injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
