Clarence man strikes pedestrian, faces DWI and vehicular assault charges

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State Police say a Clarence man faces aggravated DWI and vehicular assault charges after striking a pedestrian Saturday.

Troopers say 50-year-old Michael Eddo was driving south on Harris Hill Road near Main street when he struck a 51-year-old male pedestrian.

The male victim was transported to ECMC and is currently in serious condition.

Authorities say Eddo was arrested following failed field sobriety tests, he provided a breath sample of .19% BAC when he was transported to the station.

Eddo was arraigned on the charges listed above in Clarence Court and released with a pending court date.
