BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — While Santa was delivering gifts Thursday night, the City of Buffalo Department of Public Works was working on plowing snow off the streets.

A spokesperson for the DPW says crews began plowing main and secondary streets in the city beginning at 8 p.m. Christmas Eve.

Crews then began working on side streets once the first round of snow tapered off.

The DPW is reminding Buffalo drivers to use winter driving skills on the roadways and to follow posted parking regulations on their side streets to assist in snow removal operations.
