BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced the City of Buffalo parking rules that were suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic will return effective July 1, with the exception of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. alternate parking regulations.
This applies to all on-street parking meters. The alternate parking rules on streets with alternate parking from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. remained in place during the pandemic.
The extension of the suspension of the 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. alternate parking regulations is due to demand by residents, officials say the extension is until September.
