BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Mayor Sean Ryan is offering a challenge to hire more lifeguards ahead of the summer season.
He says he wants to hire 100 lifeguards in order to offer more swimming programs in the city.
The job pays $20 an hour and the city is offering free certification training for people 16-21 years old.
In a social media post, Ryan says if the city reaches this goal, he will jump into a city pool.
