BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — A child is hospitalized in Buffalo after going over a waterfall in Wyoming County.
Police say the incident took place in a ravine off Vernal Road near Attica just after noon on Sunday.
The child fell approximately 40 feet.
The 11-year-old was extricated by a State Police helicopter, then taken to Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo by Mercy Flight.
The extent of the child's injuries is unknown.
