BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a child riding a bicycle.

The hit-and-run happened on South Park Avenue and Folger Street in South Buffalo Friday afternoon. A neighbor living in the area tells 7 Eyewitness News the child was riding in the bike lane when a vehicle struck the child and drove away.
According to police, the vehicle was recovered Saturday.

Police say the child was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are non-life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing, Anyone with information is asked to call police.
