CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A SWAT situation ended peacefully following a stabbing that seriously injured a 39-year-old man.
Police say an argument led to a West Seneca man getting stabbed in the forearm Sunday morning near William and Helen Street. Cheektowaga police officers administered a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Authorities were able to locate the suspect to a home on St Felix Avenue. A SWAT team was called to the scene after police were not able to get the suspect to come out of the home. The suspect eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody.
Thomas Moleski was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
