BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Cheektowaga police asked for the public's assistance locating a missing 12-year-old girl Saturday night.
Police were searching for 12-year-old Lyna Soto was last seen on Austin Street in Buffalo around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
In an updated Facebook post Sunday afternoon police announced Soto was located in Riverside and thanked the public for the help.
"UPDATE!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone coming together with information, Lyna was located!!!!!! We appreciate everyone that took the time to share!"
