CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Bellevue Fire Department says a Cheektowaga home is a total loss following a Saturday night fire.
Bellevue fire says they responded to 36 Deer Trail for the report of a fire around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Following the initial investigation it is believed the fire began in the garage and spread to the home, the cause remains under investigation.
Officials say the wind was an issue for responding firefighters and made it harder to keep the fire contained.
No injuries were reported and fire officials say all occupants made it out safely but some pets were unaccounted for at the time of the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced.
Bellevue was assisted by several other fire companies.
