BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police have issued a warning to motorists on license plates being tampered with recently.
There have been a few instances of license plates being tampered with without the owner knowing and then the plates being put on stolen vehicles, according to BPD.
Police say check your plates to ensure they have not been tampered with and if you observe anyone tapering with your license plate call 911.
