TOWN OF HARMONY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Chautauqua County deputies are reminding neighbors in the Town of Ellery, Harmony and North Harmony to lock their doors after a string of home burglaries.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, personal items and power tools were taken in the burglaries. The homes involved were all being remodeled or under construction, deputies say.
Police did not say how many homes were burglarized in the area. Authorities ask anyone with information to come forward and call investigators at 716-753-4973.
