BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Charter-Spectrum will have more time to file its exit plan with the State of New York.

The New York Public Service Commission announced this week its granting the cable provider an extension.

The deadline for the filing of the six-month exit plan is now March 4, 2019.

Charter had previously been ordered to come up with a plan to sell off Spectrum without disrupting service to customers in New York.

Back in July of 2018, state authorities moved to oust Spectrum, claiming the company failed to serve customers and live up to promises.
