LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. (WKBW) — Inmates at the Cattaraugus County Jail are volunteering to make cloth masks for essential workers.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office created a program allowing inmates who chose to volunteer to learn how to use sewing machines to make masks from cloths donated by the Department of Aging.

Five female inmates produced 95 masks on the first day.

The jail hopes to have the inmates make between 150 and 200 masks each day.
