Buffalo Police haven't made any arrests after two suspects stole a car with two young children inside in the Elmwood Village Monday morning.
According to police, the woman was unloading items from the trunk of her car on Anderson Place, when the suspects got into her car and drove off.
"She was right next to the car. I don't know how she could've done anything different," explained Buffalo Police Deputy Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia.
Police said the woman yelled, and attempted to stop the thieves but didn't have any luck.
The white SUV was found abandoned about a mile away several minutes later on Linwood Avenue. The eight-month-old and two-year-old were also found in the car. Both children were unharmed.
