BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say a Canisius College student was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Jefferson Avenue Wednesday.
According to police the 21-year-old male student was crossing Jefferson Avenue in the crosswalk near Blaine Avenue around 2 p.m. Wednesday when he was struck.
He was transported to ECMC to be treated for multiple serious injuries. Police say he is currently in the critical care unit listed as stable.
According to police the driver of the vehicle is cooperating and no charges have been filed at this time.
