OLEAN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Olean Police arrested 30-year-old Thomas J. Washington this morning for the robbery of an Olean 7-Eleven on the morning of January 15th on Union Street.
Police say surveillance video showed Washington strike the 7-Eleven clerk in the head with a can and then robbing the register. He turned himself in to the Olean Police Department this morning.
He is held for arraignment on charges of robbery and assault.
