Burger King security guard shot in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Buffalo police say two people have been arrested and charged with attempted murder, after a security guard was shot in the leg, outside of a Burger King on Broadway.

The shooting happened around 8:30 Sunday night.

Police identify the suspects as 28-year-old Dwayne Borden, of Buffalo, and 25-year-old Jakar Peterson, of Buffalo. Police say both are charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim, a 56-year-old West Seneca man, was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment. Police have not released his name.
