LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WKBW) — School leaders and Sheriff's Deputies are trying to determine how a bullet made its way onto a Starpoint school bus.
According to a letter issued by Superintendent Sean Croft, the lone bullet was discovered on Monday afternoon before the middle and high schools were dismissed. A school resource officer discovered the stray bullet tucked into one of the seats on the bus.
The bus was immediately taken out of service and a canine from the Niagara County Sheriff's office was brought in to search the vehicle, nothing else was found.
