BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Pride Week begins this Monday. It's a week-long celebration embracing people of all walks of life.

This year's celebration focuses on non-crowd-based programming. There will two new ways to participate.

The 'Home Sweet Pride' will replace the Pride Parade. Instead of floats going by houses, the houses will be decorated like floats. And 'Speaking with Pride' is the social media campaign. Event organizers ask everyone to use the hashtag #buffaloprideweek to share what this week means to them.
