BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Brooksie McCutcheon will only allow people to celebrate her birthday on her actual birth date. She was already going to be celebrated for Mother's Day, but Sunday was also her 107th birthday.
"God has been good to me and let me live to see another year," McCutcheon said. "I hope I live to see another year."
A motorcade was organized for McCutcheon by her daughter, Liz Colston. Fire trucks and police cars, along with friends and neighbors, all came out to the celebration.
"At the last minute, I got on my phone and started texting people," Colston said. "It was like, you call your friends, I wanted 107 cars. We almost made it."
The unofficial count was 76 cars. McCutcheon appreciated every single one.
