BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced a Buffalo woman has pleaded guilty to a vehicular manslaughter charge in connection with a 2019 crash.

According to the district attorney's office 44-year-old Tiffany Allen was driving under the influence of alcohol on December 7, 2019 when she struck 51-year-old Jeffrey T. Chilson in the area of Military Road and Skillen Street.

Chilson was transported to ECMC where he later died.

Allen pleaded guilty to one count of vehicular manslaughter in the second degree Wednesday. She faces a maximum of seven years in prison, she is scheduled to be sentenced January 20 and remains released on bail.
