BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Buffalo woman is charged with driving drunk with a toddler.
Shawnniece Pearson, 26, is facing a felony charge of DWI with a Child under Leandra's Law, and a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
State police pulled over Pearson on the 190 around 8:50 p.m. Friday. Her blood alcohol content was 0.09%, 0.01 above the legal limit.
The child was turned over to a third party at the scene of the traffic stop.
