BUFFALO, N.Y. — A judge has handed a Buffalo teen the maximum sentence for his role in a deadly shooting on Lisbon Avenue.
18-year-old Damoni Alexander of Buffalo will serve 25 years in prison followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
Alexander shot 20-year-old Brandon Williams on Lisbon Avenue on September 29, 2018. Williams died from his injuries. According to the Erie County District Attorney's office, Alexander admitted to pulling the trigger, his co-defendant, 19-year-old Anthony Moore, provided the defendant with the illegal gun and told him to shoot the victim during a verbal altercation.
