BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A vigil on Tuesday is remembering all the heroes who have died from COVID-19 this year, specifically healthcare heroes.

The vigil takes place at 5 p.m. outside University Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Buffalo.

Organizers say since the pandemic began in March, 232 registered nurses and two thousand total healthcare workers have died from the disease nationwide.
