BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Mark your calendars, there's an event to look forward to Saturday night at 7. The Queen City Quarantine Concert will have 12 musicians showing their talents, and 12 non-profits will be benefiting from a night of local music.

"Musicians play a really important role in helping us cope with all of this," Kevin Heffernan, managing director of Rise Collaborative said. "During this we are looking for good news, and a lot of that news is fueled by our region's non-profits."

Heffernan teamed up with Emily Perryman from Unite by Night to create this virtual concert. To support musicians and non-profits there will be Venmo accounts as virtual tip jars for musicians and links to PayPals so you can donate directly to non-profits.

"It's all going to look like a VH1 pop-up video," Heffernan said.

There will be a few Buffalo celebrities joining in on the event, Buffalo Beauts and Sabres players (and our very own Katie Morse and Ed Drantch) will announce the different bands.
