BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — In a year of unprecedented need, Operation: Rock Out Hunger has kicked off its 15th year collecting turkeys, food and monetary donations.
Western New Yorkers have donated more than 2,300 turkeys and collected around $53,000 in monetary donations.
DJ Jickster, of 97 Rock, along with volunteers, spent several days collecting frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items and funds to feed families in need in the parking lot of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support #RockOutHunger in this year of unprecedented need. You raised more than $53,000 and donated more than 2,300 turkeys to help feed our neighbors!
