BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Several events are going on across WNY to help Western New Yorkers in need for the holidays, and it's not too late to help! Here are a couple that are happening Wednesday and Thursday:

Frontier High School's "Claws for a Cause" Donation Drive
Frontier High School's junior class is collecting items as part of Operation Good Neighbor for those in need, including socks, mittens, hats, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, school supplies, coloring books, and stuffed animals.

The drive-thru toy drive runs from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday on the school bus loop at Frontier High School in Hamburg. Those wishing to donate should remain in their vehicle and student volunteers will collect the donations. You're asked to put any donation items in a shoebox that students can turn into gift boxes for the recipient families.

City of Buffalo's Contact-free Toy Drop-off
The City of Buffalo is collecting toys and gift cards for children in need.

City leaders are holding a contact-free, drive-thru drop-off Wednesday and Thursday in front of Buffalo City Hall from 12:00-3:00 p.m. on both days. You can also arrange an alternate drop-off or pickup by calling 851-4841.
